To create and sustain a community which supports and understands people with mental illness.
The Mental Health Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 corporation established in 1990 in response to the very real needs
faced by people with a severe and persistent mental illness, is pleased to announce grant opportunities for
persons who receive mental health services from case management agencies. Through it is well know that
agencies in West Michigan provide an excellant network of clinical and support services for people whose
lives have been affected by mental illness, there are still needs for which all means of support have been
exhausted. It is often the most basic of needs which, if supplemented by a grant from the Mental Health
Foundation, can bring the opportunity for security, independence or better health, so critically needed
in their lives.
